Desert Bloom

Desert BloomDescription: A classic mix of beautiful desert wildflowers, specially selected for their ability to thrive in arid, desert climates. After wet winters, many of these varieties (in the wild) will bloom in lush blankets over western desert landscapes.

Contents: Desert Marigold 18%, Cassia Covesii 9%, Desert Lupine 25%, Blue Bells 18%, California Poppy 26%, Penstemon Eatonii 5%. Also included is an organic spreading agent such as rice hull, which helps cast, cover and keep seed hydrated in order to assist with germination.

Flowering Season: Blooms February through April

Comments: These are desert seeds designed by nature to thrive on seasonal rainfall. However if you choose to supplement with occasional light irrigation, this will greatly assist in germination. Periodical watering may then extend the life of your wildflower bloom, but is not mandatory. Casting these seeds in rough, rocky areas is suggested, where seeds can seek shelter amongst the gravel.
