Desert Marigold - Baileya multiradiata

Desert Marigold

Description: Silvery gray, fuzzy foliage with abundant bright yellow flowers.

Flowering Season: February through October

Comments: A very common perennial wildflower, also used for re-vegetation and highway beautification. This plant may bloom all summer with supplemental water, if rains are sparse. Although they are tempting to use for cutting, they don’t smell so great up close. When presented with a bouquet of desert marigolds from your little one, you will undoubtedly exclaim “Oh, how nice!”, but be sure to refrain from sniffing!

DISCLAIMER FOR USE: As in all agricultural plant products, responsibility for use remains in the hands of the consumer.
Please always plant conscientiously, and be aware of any species that might be considered invasive, in some areas.
